Lab Locations

The lab has 7 locations strategically located throughout Georgia to provide forensic services to regional local criminal justice agencies.  All services are performed at the Headquarters location. 

Note:

• Bodies are accepted only from those counties served by lab locations with a Medical Examiner facility. The crime lab does not transport bodies.

• For services not offered at a specific location, the crime lab will transfer the evidence to another DOFS laboratory where the service is performed.

• Evidence received at one laboratory may be transferred to another laboratory in the crime lab system in order to expedite analysis.
